The Chester Cheese and Wine Tour

Come along on a tasty, unpretentious, varied and fun Cheese & Wine Tour in Chester!

Firstly, if you love relaxed food experiences this is for you. Spend the evening sampling artisanal cheeses as well as snacks and dishes at surprising stops.  Also (and just as important) you’ll enjoy 6 memorable glasses of wine picked especially by top sommeliers and wine experts to compliment your cheese treats.

We take you to some lesser known areas of Chester and collaberate with Cheshire based distilleries and mixologists.

Above all, you’ll discover some amazing independents and will not be disappointed!

Anyone have a cheese fetish and a love affair with wine?

Look no further, bring both friends and family or grab your other half. We provide a great night out for anyone looking to spend an entertaining few hours indulging in the most classic of combos. In other words, it doesn’t matter how much you do or don’t know about wine. Knowing you like it is enough!

The plan

Given that cheese and wine tastings have always been a great way to spend the evening, we decided to give it legs too. Unlike other tastings, you get to hear from various wine experts across the city.

Experience some intriguing takes on your cheese and wine pairings whilst enjoying Cheshire-made cheese from small producers.

In order to walk it off a bit, there’s a relaxed stroll between specially selected independents for interactive tastings.

There’s no stuffiness on our food tours, only a cheese coma plus tips and facts to take away with you. All in all, a night to remember.

Cheshire cheese  is the oldest named cheese in the UK

It was Queen Victoria’s favourite, therefore has to feature on our Cheese and Wine Tour. At some point during your evening cheese crawl we explain Chester’s deep conection to Cheshire cheese, albeit showcased it a spectacular way.

Be prepared to start and end the tour on a high. All in all, we want to add a bit of style and sparkle to your night.
