Given that cheese and wine tastings have always been a great way to spend the evening, we decided to give it a twist . Unlike other tastings, you get to hear from four different wine experts and experience completely different takes on the cheese and wine pairings.

We will have a relaxed stroll between four specially selected independents for interactive tastings plus cheese and wine pairings.
There’s no stuffiness, only a cheese coma then tips and facts to take away with you. All in all, a night to remember.

Cheshire cheese is the oldest named cheese in the UK
(it was Queen Victoria’s favourite), therefore it has to feature on our Cheese and Wine Tour. At some point along our evening cheese crawl we explain Chester’s deep conection to Cheshire cheese, albeit showcased it a spectacular way.
During the Cheese and wine tour you’ll sip wine all evening and feast on cheese in various delicious guises.
Be prepared to start and end the tour on a high. All in all, we want to add a bit of style and sparkle to your night!
Basically, if you’re looking for a great experience with friends and family, solo or as a date night – look no further.

Approximately 3km. The Cheese and wine tour is a much shorter distance than the Chester on a Plate half-day tour. Dress as smartly or as casually as you wish and if the racegoers of Chester can stride around the medieval streets in heels for hours on end, then so can you!
