Steph’s Story
After pursuing a career in marketing with Vogue in Mumbai, Steph, owner of Pastry Pedaleur, took a leap of faith one day and followed her heart. Her journey has taken numerous interesting turns since!

Quality ingredients, innovative flavours, skill and a whole lot of love. Here’s how we do it. Our flavours explore a culture or marry two – French and Indian cooking, lending heritage to innovation. And it all started with our founder, Stephanie Peters, sharing the delight of a pastry.
From training with Michelin star restaurants, The Chester Grosvenor, and being a stagiaire at high-end bakeries in London to now being featured amongst the best small food producers on Channel 4 – Stephanie has got heart and skill.
The vision is to nurture a strong and vibrant community around our food – witnessing the joy of foodies biting into baked pastries fresh from our oven, partnering with local farms and suppliers and putting Chester on the world food map.’
I must add that Steph designed a very special Cheshire dessert for the Chester on a Plate Food Tour, and it is a HIT. Therefore, she has now created a new Chester special with a twist for the High Tea on the Dee experience.
